It’s a natural bay, very well sheltered; located at the end of the Girolata Gulf; this natural port gives a quite secure shelter to little and medium tonnage boats.

DESCRIPTION
the port is located at the end of the St. Florent Gulf on the west coast of Capo Corso peninsula: very popular for tourists, it is in front of an ancient village (« Genova style »). The port has to be considered a «marina » for the efficient services that can offer. The town Hall manages this port.
- Dangers: care must be taken of Tignoso Rock, indicated by a red buoy (400 m. from the port entrance).Strong winds N and NW.

Macinaggio port is located SE of Capo Corso and South of Punta della Coscia; it’s inside a well sheltered cove and gives a secure shelter to small merchant ships too (even with rough sea and strong wind from NW)
- Dangers: strong winds from NE and E; caution, entering the port starboard, there’s a flats space that extends from underwave mole as far as the port inside.
- Entry hours: summertime 07/21, wintertime 08/12,14/17
- Entry: entry passge is open N direction.Easy by day and by night, difficult with strong winds from E and SE

Located to the north of St. Nicolas, the touristic port of Toga is sheltered by a long reef overwave and another underwave. The internal sheet of water is divided in docks, each of them with quays for berthing

DESCRIPTION
Porto Vecchio is located in the most internal part of the Gulf; the Ficaja dam (North) and the Dispensario dam (East) give a good shelter to the port
- Dangers: Chiappino rock at the entrance of the gulf, rock platform of the Punta di Benedetto, rocks at the entrance of the touristic port and the commercial port (indicated with buoys); in Portovecchio gulf hidroplanes land for charging water. Care must be taken of several flats.
- Entry hours: 8.00/21.00
- Entry: First ranging: enter in white light sector for 274° as far as the Benedetto buoy; Second ranging: enter in commercial port light sector for 225° as far as the branch buoy (green light). Third ranging: enter light of “La Ciocca” port, on your left entering.
- The port staff gives assistance (if requested) for some difficult operations, under responsibility of the owner of the boat
