1 WEEK: two days “CINQUE TERRE, PORTOFINO” + 4 days “COSTA AZZURRA”

Not very hard but definitely pleasant itinerary and suitable for first time or not very experts with sailing boats. La Spezia gulf, in fact, is the perfect place to make some practice because blind from flows and strong winds. Sailing you can reach: Portovenere, Byron Cave, Fiascherino and the popular Cinque Terre (Five Lands). Moore is permitted and by foot it’s possible to visit the heart of these lively villages. Cinque Terre National Park (UNESCO heritage since 1997 ) is part of a sustainable development project that offers in each village an accommodation center.

To continue in direction of France, from Porto Lotti base, head for Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino, coasting the east cost and mooring at Cinque Terre. The arrival is scheduled in the evening and if the port is full we will spend the night in Santa Margherita. Next morning departure toward France.

1 WEEK “LIGURIA e CAPRAIA”

Capraia is situated in the north of the Tuscany archipelago, more close to the Corsica coast than the Italian one. She is the daughter of the volcano raised from the water, that have created a characteristic environment in which white and black rocks predominate. The rocky cost is reachable only by sea.

ITINERARY

Departure from Porto Lotti to La Spezia. Navigation during the night with arrival in Capraia Port next morning. The port is equipped to supply water, fuel and food.

Capraia In Capraia you will spend two fantastic days of sun, swimming and sailing. Do not miss Cala Rossa and Cala Mortola. We would also suggest snorkeling to admire the richness of the bottom of the sea. For those loving walking it is possible to cross the island through ancient roman paths; in the centre of the Island there a salt lake, you catch sight of Corsica Island from the view point and you can reach Punta Zenobito that is a extinguished crater. Departure on Sunday to come back to Porto Lotti , we will arrive late evening.

Our suggestion: it is better to spend more time in Capraia to appreciate the beauty of this island and sailing during the night with arrival at the base next morning.
